ORCHID Insulation Inserts for Inspection Plug :

ORCHID Insulation Inserts are used as removable insulation to do an easy inspection. The insulation inserts shall be inserted behind the plug while installation and when inspector perform the inspection, the plug shall be removed from the piping / equipment and pull the insert by holding the strap attached on top of insert.

How to select Inspection Plug?

Selection Criteria 1: Temperature

• Hot Insulation UP To 1100 Degree Celsius
• Cold Insulation -40 to + 40 Degree Celsius
• Cryogenic Insulation -168 to -40 Degree Celsius

Selection Criteria 2: Insulation Thickness

The length of insert are same as insulation thickness specified in the thickness chart as follows.
